The topic of social commerce has not passed Tiktok by either. An article by t3n, which we have linked to below, states that Shopify merchants will soon be able to sell their products directly on Tiktok.

Currently, this function is still being tested with selected Shopify merchants from the UK, the USA and Canada. With the help of a shopping tab, which is a subsection of the Tiktok profile, and product links, these merchants can now sell their products directly on Tiktok. 🛍️
To use this function, a Tiktok for Business account and a Shopify storefront are required. It is not yet known when the function will be available here. In the next few weeks, however, the function should be usable for retailers in the UK, the USA and Canada, and a rollout for other countries should follow in the coming months.
