The Core Web Vitals are just around the corner. We participated in the webinar of Searchmetrics and give you a few key facts below.🔜🔵🔴🟡🟢
The Core Web Vitals are a subgroup of the Web Vitals, which Google uses to measure the Page Experience, i.e. the user experience of a website. And it is precisely these that the next update in May 2021 will focus more on when evaluating websites.Since users are primarily interested in speed and no one likes to wait a long time for the content of a website to load, the focus in optimising the Core Web Vitals is primarily on the loading and interaction times of the various elements of a website. Specifically, these are the values First Input Delay (FID), Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) and Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS). In the future, these three key figures will increasingly determine the success or failure of a website. With the help of tools such as Google’s Page Speed Insights, Google Search Console and Google Data Studio, the performance of these factors can be monitored and optimised.
