Amazon launches a new feature for selected customers in the United States. “Amazon Inspire” competes above all with Instagram and TikTok. Find out here what the marketplace is up to with photo and video content and what the whole thing is supposed to bring:
💡 “Amazon Inspire” is the new shopping function of the marketplace giant. Users, creators and retailers can upload or view video content and photos directly in the Amazon app. If a product is liked, users can go directly to the product page via a link or buy the product directly via an overview page.
🛒 To find out which products users are interested in, Amazon uses the same tactics as other social networks: they simply ask. Over time, the algorithm itself is supposed to recognise which content and which products suit the user.
We are looking forward to seeing how this function is accepted by users and when we will also be able to shop through “Amazon Inspire” here in Germany. It is not yet clear if and when the feature will be rolled out in Germany.
