Last week we found this interesting study: for a recent survey by Deutsche Post, over 2,500 marketing decision-makers were asked about their spending on online marketing in Germany in the past years 2018 and 2019. 📊
This study showed that around 4.2 billion euros were spent on search engine marketing in both 2018 and 2019. In the segment of display and video advertising, on the other hand, expenditure fell. An interesting shift is also visible in the area of social media marketing and email marketing. While expenditure on email marketing fell by 0.1 billion euros, expenditure on social media marketing rose by the same amount.💰
